The Morse Park Master Plan features a new amphitheater for hosting major performing art events. The new Lake Lure Marina building will feature a two-story, 5,000 square foot visitor center and upper floor restaurant. The marina will continue to serve Lake Lure Tours and boat slip users. A new visitor center will also cater to tourists wishing to explore Rutherford County’s many resources and assets.
The new boat slips and boardwalk were completed in 2020.
The Town and Tourism Development Authority are working to raise funds for the Morse Park Amphitheater. Naming rights are available and the Town is seeking a private partner to help establish a restaurant on the upper floor of the new marina.
